IMPORTANT: Due to the perishable and agricultural nature of coffee, bulk green and roasted coffee orders (19.2 Metric Ton and above) are not eligible for return once shipped.
All sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing within the sales contract. Quality specifications are agreed upon prior to shipment, and samples may be approved by the buyer before dispatch. By confirming the order, the buyer accepts the agreed grade, screen size, moisture level, processing method, and cupping profile.
If the buyer believes the delivered coffee does not meet the contracted specifications, a written quality claim must be submitted within 7 days of cargo arrival at the destination port. The claim must include supporting documentation such as photos, independent inspection reports, and cupping analysis performed by a certified Q grader or recognized laboratory.
Addis Coffee reserves the right to review all claims and may request an independent third-party inspection at the destination. If a quality deviation is confirmed and attributable to Addis Coffee, resolution may include partial compensation, replacement in a future shipment, or commercial adjustment as mutually agreed. Returned containers will not be accepted without prior written authorization.
Claims related to shipping damage, moisture exposure during transit, port delays, or improper storage after discharge are not the responsibility of Addis Coffee when risk has transferred according to the agreed Incoterm.
We are committed to transparency and quality. We source our coffee directly from Ethiopian smallholder farmers with full traceability and responsible land-use practices. Our supply chain complies with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), ensuring that the coffee we export is verified to be deforestation-free and sustainably produced.
Consistency, long-term partnerships, and we will work in good faith to resolve any legitimate concerns professionally and efficiently.
